UKRAINE AND RUSSIA CLASH

 UKRAINE TERRIBLE ATTACK

             The war between Ukraine and Russia, which can be considered a major war and event after many years, has now reached a new level of strength after a thousand days. The reason is that the current US President has given a directive to use a missile that can strike across continents.

AMERICA AND UK SUPPORT 

           Ukraine attacked Russia using American missiles. In this situation, it is now attacking using British missiles. Ukraine has attacked 3 places in Russia using British missiles. This has almost turned out to be countries like Britain and America helping Ukraine to attack Russia. The United Kingdom has already decided to follow the United States in sending missiles to Ukraine. The decision has been made to send long-range missiles and Storm Shadow missiles. Due to this, the pressure on Russia has started to increase. 

There has been a huge rift in the relationship between the United States and Russia to an unprecedented extent. The reason for this is Ukraine. Ukraine wanted to join NATO. It made efforts for this.

When the Soviet Union was one, Russia and Ukraine were one country. Then, when the Soviet Union collapsed in December 1991, Ukraine separated. In such a situation, if Ukraine joins NATO, it will be a danger to Russia. Most of the former Soviet countries that were around Russia have already joined the US's NATO. If Ukraine also joins, it will be a big problem for Russia. This will become a security check for Russia by NATO. Thus, Russia is making serious efforts to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO. Russia has a plan to occupy Ukraine before it becomes a full-time ally of the United States. Because Ukraine covers most of Russia's border. If such a Ukraine joins NATO, it will be a problem for Russia, so Russia has attacked Ukraine.  Ukraine is unable to join NATO because countries at war cannot join NATO. 

Russia, which was opposed to Ukraine joining NATO, launched a war on the country in February 2022. Russia, which thought it could easily conquer the small country, was left with a huge disappointment. The United States and European countries are providing Ukraine with weapons and financial assistance, which is a serious challenge for Russia.

NATO was established in 1949 to counter Soviet armies in central and eastern Europe after World War II. After the Cold War, NATO was reconceived as a “cooperative-security” organization.

NATO Headquarters: Where representatives from all the member states come together to make decisions on a consensus basis. 

Military Committee: Composed of the Chiefs of Defence of NATO member countries.

The first three founding members of NATO were the United States of America, United Kingdom, and France. 

ICBM MISSILE

            An intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is a ballistic missile with a range greater than 5,500 kilometres (3,400 mi),[1] primarily designed for nuclear weapons delivery (delivering one or more thermonuclear warheads). Conventional, chemical, and biological weapons can also be delivered with varying effectiveness, but have rarely been deployed on ICBMs. Most modern designs support multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRVs), allowing a single missile to carry several warheads, each of which can strike a different target. The United States, Russia, China, France, India, the United Kingdom, Israel, and North Korea are the only countries known to have operational ICBMs. Pakistan is the only nuclear-armed state that does not possess ICBMs.

ATACMS MISSILE

          The MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS ) is a supersonic tactical ballistic missile designed and manufactured by the US defense company Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV), and later Lockheed Martin through acquisitions.

The United States has decided to allow Ukraine to use landmines in its war with Russia. Ukraine already has permission to use American anti-tank mines. However, the United States has only now decided to allow Ukraine to use landmines, which are criticized by volunteers as a danger to civilian lives. 

Regarding this, the country's Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said:

Ukraine will be allowed to use American-made landmines against Russian ground forces. Until now, the Russian army has been advancing with artillery to invade Ukraine. But now Russia has begun to use ground troops in such operations. Earlier, President Biden gave Ukraine permission to fire "Attacks" missiles that the US had provided to the country to attack Russian positions only in Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine. While the excitement surrounding this has subsided, the US has now announced that it will allow Ukraine to use its own anti-personnel mines against Russia. However, it is noteworthy that the country will only use such mines within Ukrainian territory. In addition, the Ukrainian military is already burying US-made anti-artillery mines and domestically produced anti-personnel mines to prevent the advance of Russian forces.

US EMBASSY CLOSURE

           The United States closed its embassy in the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Wednesday, fearing a retaliatory attack by Russia after allowing Ukraine to deploy its Atacama missiles in remote areas of Russia. Russia had warned that the escalation of the conflict would be further exacerbated by the US allowing its country to use Atacama missiles, which can travel at speeds of up to 300 km/h, to strike. However, Ukraine launched Atacama missiles at the Bryansk region of the country on Tuesday. The United States closed its embassy in Kiev, fearing a major Russian counterattack that could target US positions in Ukraine.

BRITAIN ALSO ATTACKED WITH MISSILES

         Ukraine reportedly attacked Russia for the first time on Wednesday with a British-made, aircraft-launched 'Storm Shadow' missile. Britain had already considered allowing Ukraine to use Storm Shadow missiles, which have a long range (550 km) like the United States, inside Russia. Britain decided to grant this permission in retaliation for Russia bringing in special forces from North Korea to fight against Ukraine in the war. Therefore, it was expected that Britain would also grant such permission after the United States gave permission to launch Atacama missiles against Russia. In this context, reports have now emerged that British Storm Shadow missiles were launched inside Russian territory. However, neither Britain nor Ukraine have confirmed this yet.

CONCLUSION 

              The current war situation has caused great damage between the two countries, and it is very sad that a government that can do this knowingly and indiscriminately attacks them is very sad. My personal opinion is that Ukraine and Russia should stop this war and engage in peaceful talks and establish friendly relations. The people of many countries are afraid of this war, and this is not the right trend. In this case, I hope that Trump, who has won the election in the United States, will bring a solution by now. Because it has been reported that Trump held talks with the President of Ukraine and the President of Russia in order to bring it to an end now. It has been reported that this telephone conversation lasted about 15 minutes. And the people of both countries have expressed their shock. The missile conflict between these countries has now become a topic of discussion on social media. I pray to God that this conflict will end peacefully as soon as possible.
